Robot, Manual and Spot Welding MIG/TIG

GenMet has two welding facilities which provide robotic welding, stud welding, spot welding, and manual welding capability.

ROBOT WELDERS

We have two robot welders: an IGM welder with a 30-inch x 82-inch carousel work area, and a Panasonic robot welder with a 30-inch radius turntable work area.

TWO 50 KVA SPOT WELDERS

GenMet has three 50 KVA spot welding machines.

MANUAL WELDERS

Our team of welders are certified to AWS D1.1(structural steel), D1.2 (structural aluminum), and D1.3 (structural sheet metal) as well as D9.1m (sheet metal). We also have welders who are certified to ASME Section IX (boiler and pressure vessel code). We have expertise in welding mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminum. We also have a Certified Welding Instructor on staff to support additional welding certification and training as necessary.
